i think i failed to mention this. i have no problem with gays, just have my pet peeves about specific behaviors that only a SELECT few do. and my beliefe that they are not born with it stems from the fact i believe no one is born with sexual orientation and we either choose or develop said sexual orientation through puberty... im not sure which as i PERSONALLY never really developed the sexual orientation beyond feeling the need to masturbate on rare occasion. never wanted to really fuck anyone though. the only place i ever felt like unloading into is a tissue.

at one point i was curious and wanted to try it but that faded after a month or two.

i feel people are not "born" gay or straight simply because of my own experience. i was not really attracted to men or women. until about 8-10 months ago honestly i had sexual urges before then but i never really decided i wanted to be with a women or man... tried to be with a girl and it was the worst experience ever... never wanted to really fuck her though. any ways i decided i dont want to have relationships beyond friendship.

I don't get this... you've stated that you TRIED to "be with a girl" before (basically, you tried to be heterosexual), but it didn't work. Surely that proves to you that sexuality ISN'T someting you can choose, as you've tried to and failed. Yet you seem to view this as evidence for the contrary. I don't understand that.

And kids can be attracted to people before the age of 12, I knoww I was. Not sexually, but still attraction. I think most people who are attracted to people as adults would also have been attracted to people when they were a kid

I messed around in my teens, but never really got the hots for girls even though I liked their bodies. Long story short, turns out i like crossdressers. who'da think it.

I think we're born bisexual/asexual, not gay. Your true sexual preferences only really properlly develop at puberty, after a state of confusion. These have to be discovered, whether nurter is part of it or not is debatable. That means that while one goes for either the straight/gay lables, we are not *entirelly* straight or gay, just a spectrum that sways towards straight, bisexual or gay.

i replyed as i am a fan of family guy which is a crude and immature TV show. dont know if you have it over there. and the topic reminded me of a scene from the show which parodies the souther ignorance stereotype of the US in which the family baby who happens to speek and is gay is preforming in a talent show for girls [he is male], wins, and bows to the crowd and his wig falls off to which a southern member of the audience yells "HEY! But heres the thing , you're using your own experience as an Asexueal male to define sexuality in broad , that just isn't going to work mate.

By your theory , if I can choose to be gay I can also choose to be straight, I have absolutely no attraction to women whatsoever , at the time my sexual side began to develop (13-14) I began to swing towards men naturally, not by choice.
 

also i agree, god does not exist [hense the line "[granted that is not a great idea in the first place" but lets not ruin it for people who dont know that yet. i also agree with they should have the right to marry with the exception of age... marriage requires an agreement which can be very one sided at times so young couples could be taken advantage of if they were allowed. and that love does not demand a piece of paper too be valid

Ok fair enough , at least you aren't totally delusional marriage , however it is NOT a religious ceremony only , only the vows are chosen to be religious or not.
Plus not *all* religions shun gays , there are a lot of curches which welcome gays , and a lot of churches over here have gay vicars , bishops etc.
