I'm guessing you're referring to the sweet potatoes Lestat. I'm from the South. I sometimes eat plain, baked sweet potato. We also eat things like chitlin's, grits, red eye gravy, greens and pot likker, corn pone, etc.Next time I'll put some apricot preserves on them, although I suspect it won't be as tasty as the cherry preserves.

My hand smells like baked beans and cornbread.But I didn't have baked beans nor cornbread, not tonight, not this entire month.Weird.
Maybe it is time for you to make cornbread muffins.
Do you like your cornbread sweet? I prefer mine that way. One day I'm actually make it sweet enough to be a cake and drizzle lemon sugar icing on it.
