They must be printing the Saturday paper on Friday evening. They just delivered it, 27 minutes past midnight, and it takes 20 minutes to town by car, if you don't stop on the way, that is.

That is indeed what they do, and depending on the paper the exact times will vary.

I use duct tape to hold and seal the hoses on my insulation blowing machine together.  I probably by 30-40 rolls a year

Sometimes badly organised things can be in your advantage.

Had booked a "bus" trip. Because of the Sunday, not many passengers are expected, so the bus will not go from the trainstation to the village I was born. But, you can call in, tell with how many people you want to travel from A-B and a taxi will arrive and drop you at the bus stop of your choice for the price of a bus ticket/bus pass charge.

They never got that bus pass charging right, so, we travelled for free.

Your not wrong about dried on porridge. Damn near impossible to get off without either a long, long soaking, or corrosives.

I get most ambitious about cleaning 15 minutes before I have to get ready for work.  :P

The cook girl at the café is genuinely nice. She asked me if it was OK with pasta instead of rice to the chicken and served to other guests extra coffee without charging them  :)
