The Iceland volcano at the moment is just gassy, like my mum (and sometimes me).

I looked everywhere for Rowan thinking he was outside while rain and thunder was happening. Nope, he was under my bed.

The cart for the 400 ward is too small of a space to store all of the resident's clothing and other necessities. WAKE UP BOSSMAN!

I saw a few black furry caterpillars in the carport today.

SO, early season?
We have them now, too. They show up in late summer/early fall, here.
There are creepy people who think they can predict the coming winter by how large and whether they have stripes and where the stripes land on the critters.

Observation:
My man cave/garage where I spend a lot of time doing gun stuff or music stuff, has a chirping cricket inside.
I  hate killing crickets!!
They are beneficial.
But this horny boy is driving me crazy.

Woke up at my usual time... just wished there was a movie at the cinema few towns over that's worth seeing.

There's a new person that started at my old work with unknown pronouns. As in, people are noticing the gender ambiguity but haven't respectfully found out what they identify as.
Though I reckon most people at my old work don't know how to respectfully interact with anyone, let alone with anyone from the LGBTQIA+ community. They already much prefer to gawk and speculate with ridicule behind the person's back.

"They" (pronoun until we know otherwise) are in for a hell of a time there

I'm actually really worried for them. And they're so young too (uni student age), so there's no way of knowing if they're in the early stages of transitioning and struggling mentally or anything.
That office is NOT the place to be if that's the case!

One of the guys I went to High School with has a birthday today... He's been going through too much accusations and other stupid shit that it's messed up his self-esteem a bit. He has a background in culinary stuff so he's familiar with the restaurant scene, but he's also a former fat kid who was picked on for his size.

In a way, I feel like I can relate

Random email from a recruitment agency today, trying to spruik a position at a place I applied at 2 years ago.
The place that sat on the pile of resumes for 6 weeks before getting around to screening suitable applicants at the 11th hour. Meaning they were then extremely inflexible when discussing an interview time. I'd like to think one would happily negotiate a time with the right sounding candidates for an upper finance position, not cattle-call them in all in one day.
But no it was my problem I was unable to see them within their short time frame, rather than them being shit disorganized and inflicting it on others.

Anyway I told the recruiter of my experience and I'm sure they'll never bother contacting me again

I was planning on going to the cinema sometime this week... looks like I need to wait until payday and supplemental funds come in.
