Over the years of our living in this place, many observations have been made. I am a very observant person, it's who I am. Anywho, there is a dog and his owner who travel together by vehicle many times in this area. In a car, he/she loves to stick it's head out of the car window and bark incessantly. (looks like a hound breed or hound mix) When the weather is warmer, his master rides a motorcycle with the dog in a caged side car. Also barking incessantly.......I have called him "Doppler Dog", as in the doppler effect. I hear it getting louder and louder as the pup comes and get less loud as it moves away from me. A perfect example of the doppler effect.
Lately the dog doesn't bark incessantly, more randomly, but, the effect is still there. Sounds like doppler dog is excited to be out and about and "singing". Incessant barking annoys me in certain cases, but, this makes me smile as I walk and they pass me, or sitting on our deck and hearing it. I've never met the owner or the pup. But, when I hear that very distinctive bark I know Doppler Dog and his driver are on the road!
