I don't know why the skin clinic didn't just give me these Cutifilm dressings with clear flexifilm over the top to begin with. They're way better. Way more waterproof. Unlike the textile ones they gave me originally with the instructions to "not get them wet". That's why the incision looks like shit now.

In all honesty, how can someone be so wise yet so foolish spiritually?

Saw a Jag parked right in the middle of two parking spaces outside a supermarket, the white line emerging dead centre. I guess he really needed to do some shopping.  :lol1:

I guess if you drive a jaguar, that means your entitled!  Grrrrr

Haha, I think he was just worried someone would dent his precious Jag. I can relate. I just wouldn't leave mine anywhere near people. :P

I get that people worry about door dings in parking lots, but whenever I see a car parked like that I wish I could also ignore the lines and park a normal distance right next to them.  :lol1: There's always been other cars in the adjacent spots, but maybe one day I'll get my chance.  :zoinks:

It's hilarious, though.

Caught our sale guy - the head of sales is his official title, actually - lying to a potential partner today. Twice. Not my place to fix it there and then, but I really wanted to. And I know because he was lying about a project I was the lead on.

I don't understand how these people work. Don't they understand that they'd be found out?

A sales guy lying say it ain't so  :o

They all seem to do it some are just more brazen than others,  none ever think that they will be caught or the consequences.

It will bite me in the arse. I know what he's saying is a fairy tale, and I know damned well not to commit to anything he says... but I'm just one gate of many.

Taking my walk and picking up trash, when I see a metal gaping jawed skull peering at me!  I get closer and it is the output decoration of a diesel exhaust pipe that had broken off!   :trollskull:   Of course I took it home and spent a couple of hours cutting the pipe off and trying to remove the section of pipe in the skull.  Got all the exterior pipe off, but, the rusted section is really solidly stuck in there.  The skull is made of aluminum and soaking in a bucket of strong cleaner in water.  I'm gonna let it soak for a few days then try to remove the interior pipe piece at some point.  I'll use my Dremel tool and give it a bit of surface grind and polish.  Might make a decent Halloween decoration!   :trollskull:

Why do I have dull period pain despite being smack bang in between cycles?

In the category of small pleasures making me smile.  Last night as I was preparing for bed and adjusting the BR curtain....I kept seeing flashes, and I look out the window, there to the northwest was Lightning flashes every 3-5 seconds.  Revealing clouds, but, not the strato-cumulus clouds usually associated with thunderstorms.  And to top it off, I could see the frequent flashes, but, not a sound.....I might have heard a faint distant rumble, but, it was hard to tell if it was a car or truck on the highway or even a jet plane flying in the distant.  Any who I stood there, I stood there for about 10 minutes drinking in the sight and then toddled off to bed.  The flashes continued without a sound as I drifted off to sleep.  Pretty cool!😎

I OD'd on Dulcolax and the effects weren't pleasant till after lunch, but it was positively blissful to be without wind or bloat once the discomfort was over.
