I think I have a stalker  :'(

Another?

... or is it the same person ramping up.

It's the same person I've been complaining about to you guys for awhile now.

It's "that time of year" for the dog. She's not yet particularly interested in the many males looking her way but give it another week or so.

Are you making reference to a breeding program?

Nah, just mentioning the state of the dog. She's fairly hyper now. She's never been NT, if there is such a thing for dogs, but books could (and should?) be written about her when in heat.

Lots of rocks and dirt in the streets from last nights torrential rain and flooding.

Even if I did find someone else... would they accept me for me, or would they judge me for random mundane stupid shit like the other girl did?

The guy selling at the flea market who was across the isle from me looked like Jeremy Wade from the show River Monsters.

Ever notice how your mind can just change if you allow it to?

I have a newish cutting board from spring "card rewards"  (used card points and chose this item)  made of thin bamboo. Very clever design, I noticed right away, but I hated it, because it was thin and light.

Understand, I grew up with people who butchered livestock on the kitchen table. The cutting board was thick and heavy duty. In fact, if you had to change a tractor tire, the cutting board could be used to hold it up while you do.
This new cutting board seemed flimsy to me at first. I hated it. I have a variety of cutting boards for my own kitchen and mostly light, compared to my grandfather's chopping and cutting solutions.

But, now, after using it for a few months, I love it for the very same reasons I hated it when I first introduced myself to it.
I hated it because it was thin and light, now I love it because it is thin and light.

I'm supposed to send back a laptop to a former client in the UK. Said client was supposed to take care of the paperwork and so all I'd have to do was hand over the package to a courier.

Not so fast.

The UK is no longer an EU member so there's LOTs of paperwork to be done, from laptop battery documentation to customs declarations and paid customs invoices. Bloody hell, no wonder the supermarket shelves in the UK are empty now, nobody wants to export anything to the UK anymore.

It's probably cheaper and faster to pay me for a flight there and back. Except I'd probably end up in Covid quarantine instead. :GA:

Major bathroom remodeling happening at my place.

Showering with a tap and a bucket, camping style. Yay.

I'm having trouble finding the dog's food again. I don't know why since the stores seem back to normal now.  :dunno:

I tried an automatic touchless car wash for the first time today. It was ordinary.

I remember when we remodelled this place. Four months of temporary arrangements, from having no kitchen to no shower to no bathroom to just about everything else. It was worth it but there were times when I had my doubts.

My architect colleague at work is slowly but surely being worn out. He's been with the company for years and they've grown to rely on him for everything so they pull him into every meeting and every discussion there is. And there's a lot.

I'm trying to take stuff off him but he's resisting. Wondering how to put it to him.
