The moors are beautiful this time of year - all purple heather and waving grasses. Also saw a pair of curlews fly straight across the road in front of us on Bingley Moor the other day heading back from Leeds - a wow moment.

Did you know that you have to wear a mask while playing the pokies at the pub in NSW, but if you have a free glass of water in your hand that you pretend to sip on (or a beer whatever you prefer) you can play with your mask off? You still have to have a mask in your possession though.
I've inadvertently discovered a loop hole here. Somebody could get one of those drinking hats and go a full day without putting their mask on.

Even though my job is a hellhole, it's a learning experience many like myself must go through... if you are wanting to be cooperative with your fellow human beings NT or not... You need to stop having a pity party all the time.

Yesterday someone didn't read the low bridge signs,  happens about once a month here and at another bridge in town

There's some great footage of this sort of thing on Youtube. Cracks me up every time, especially when they don't even slow down when approaching the bridge.
