The dog freaked out during this morning's walk. Yay.

Somebody is getting a little obsessed with crush boi and it's not me.

It's the (former) boss guy from the other office!!

180 calls, 5-6 times per day over the past month, and he's been sending crush boi weird texts that have hinted at an intensifying emotional neediness :O_o:

Crush boi is extremely annoyed but he can't do anything about it, he's just a lonely old man.
That's harassment! He could get the police involved but then again it's hard to know what to do in this type of situation.

Well I wouldn't go that far, the situation isn't what it seems, seeing as crush boi was the one that helped him out the most when he was recovering from the stroke 18 months ago. Crush boi still answers at least one call per day in the evening and replies to some texts, but the problem is it erodes away at his spare time when he wants to get stuff done because it's always at least a 30 min call. Then the old man guilt trips him for being too busy when crush boi uses that as a reason for not answering/replying.
We're not sure whether it's 'love' or what (the old boss guy IS gay, as we found out). He even made some comment about 'encroaching on Charlotte's territory', as if to imply I see him as a romantic threat . Crush boi doesn't swing either way buddy, he's asexual

I shined a UV light on my computer desk and now I feel all itchy.
Ever got that feeling that you're trying to teach a dog a card trick?

Keep clorox wipes in the office; not a much of a germaphobe so they're mainly for the dust and smudges. Few years ago, was working late and the maintenance person came by, emptied the wastebasket and then started wiping down the desktop. Told husband about it and how it freaked me out, having no idea where else the cleaning rag had been, in the toilets for all I knew. Never had the impression of my desk being cleaned while out, so was really hoping it was wiped only because I happened to be sitting there and it wasn't a normal thing, but was tempted to UV light my workspace. Husband told me to simply clean each morning and let it go. He said, do not, I repeat DO NOT, bring a UV light to the office.

There's sometimes a difference between being a push over and doing as told. When it comes to work, not only want to be told what to do, but also to be told exactly. Working independently is easier when expectations are perfectly clear..
