Too many people on the road heading to the beach, sitting in the left lane going less than the speed limit. I miss driving across Europe like last year, where you could cruise quickly and get over and maintain a consistent speed, outside of cities and construction zones, of course.

Paris to Amsterdam to Berlin and back to Paris was a breeze. I hope to do it again some time. Maybe hit Switzerland via more Deutschland towns I used to go to in the 00s.

Crazy, I'm halfway to crazy
Suicide would waste me
Homicide would break me
Tongue tied and tied to the tongue
Tongue tied and tied to the tongue
Oh, is life as bad as dreams
I guess that's just the way it seems

After getting to the house a  I was working while sitting in the van drinking coffee with my brother a red fox casually strolled down the center of the street with a dead woodchuck in it's mouth.  It went a block down the road then turned left down the center of the side street.  I hope Gary is ok  :zoinks:

You were lucky when driving in Europe. Just saying.

Spent most of yesterday trying to find out the ISO weight of the projector oil in my garage cinema. With the advent of all things digital, projector oil is becoming harder to source. Turns out air compressor oil should work but more investigation is needed. The various additives in most engine oils would harm the projector.

School holidays have started. I was on the train sitting far from anyone when a group of about 10 teenagers got on and sat all around me. I got up and moved to the next carriage. I heard them all laugh but I don't know if it was about me moving or not. They were pretty rowdy.

Apparently social distancing is not a thing everywhere in a hospital. The bloody doctor shook my hand and I shook his out of habit before realising what happened.

On the Lightning Ridge FB group there's some learn to drive workshops on in Walgett, the next town over at 100km away.
How is anyone supposed to get to Walgett from the Ridge to attend?
Drive themselves there???

I love how much joy my dog brings people when we're out and about. She's an attention grabber for sure.

Mine, too. I love it when I run into someone and they happen to be dog people. Our little fellow is a Dachshund/Collie mix, complete with big fluffy tail, impressive main, long ears, and four inch legs. Irresistible!

We had a thing happen the other day where this guy in his 20's was driving and had his music blasting, his shades on and you could tell he was trying to look super cool. He pulls up to us at a stop light and keeps his chill appearance. Then I put the back window down and my dog stuck her head out and smiled at him and he instantly turned off his music and started baby talking to her. It was hilarious!!! She's a Leonberger aka the lion dog, so she's a big goofy love bug and she automatically assumes that everyone is her new best friend.

Kinda miss having a dog that would assume anything like that. Ours is paranoid.
