I'm at my wits end with the oldest. His is off the charts right now and combining that with his anxiety and work stress, it's constant questions. He can't seem to trust his own opinion about anything right now. It gets to be a bit much sometimes. I'm not about to give her the assurances she craves but therapy through text messages is a lot of work.Same. We've been talking a lot about how he knows he has the skillset to answer these questions on his own but he doesn't like the feeling of anxiety so he wants someone else to answer it for him so it gets rid of the feeling quickly but that's not actually helping him. The texting is a lot and it's amazing how much energy that can take.I hear you. I'm in the same boat, I feel like I'm tethered to the phone some days now.I think enough of us have reached the stage in life where we need a section just for the parenting struggles. lol

I went to an open house yesterday which I sort of liked. But the interior lighting was all weird. Instead of ceiling lights on the second level all the rooms had wall lights that were as dim as shit. Maybe it had something to do with the ceiling material itself, looked like some sort of panel instead of plasterboard.
Kids driving their bikes on the wrong side of the road. Not a lot of traffic on that particular road but cars are bigger than bikes.

You'll never self-actualize the subconscious canopy of stardust with that attitude.
