Ren-no, not excel, the old fashioned way. Drawn out on paper.

And MOSW-Stoich is my worst part as far as chemistry goes.

I've often thought I make for a pretty unlikely individual to have ended  up taking up chemistry for a hobby, since I'm dyscalculic as hell. And sometimes, not always but the more complex rearrangements and cycloadditions, tautomerizations can go a bit skewy in my mind's eye. But it seems, being a spazz counts for something, if one wants to succeed badly enough, that is sure as hell IMO a pretty strong driving force.

Beyond the pale. Way, way beyond the pale.

I want more snow. It's hard to get into the Christmas spirit with hardly any snow. Being snowed in, is my favourite  :viking:

Have you ever been properly snowed in? For a few days, at the very least?

Yes. Several times. I remember one time my Dad having to go out my bedroom window on the second floor, dressed in a snowsuit and holding a shovel, and jumping off the roof into the snow and then trying to dig himself out and eventually dig out the front door of the house. It was one of those monster storms where when you opened the door, all you saw was a wall of snow.

Another time, in 2012, we got hit with a blizzard and a wicked ice storm that paralyzed the city. Transformer blew, trees broke, power lines down, the roads were covered in debris and trees and snow and ice and power was out for days. None of that ever freaks me out but I always make it a point to be well stocked up. Where I live now we heat by woodstove and always have a large stockpile of firewood (10 cords) but we have to have bottled water on hand because if the power goes out (which it does frequently) we also lose out water supply because we're on well water.

And you still want this? :o

It's happened to me a couple of times, and it's not something I particularly enjoyed in any way, shape or form.

Yes. I love it. But I think it's because then I'm forced to not be so busy. I have to stay home. If the power goes out, there's less noise overall. So no internet, not tv, I can curl up with a book and I know nobody can reach me by phone. Now everyone around me basically goes batshit but I'm good.

Well, each to her own. I grew up with snow and long winters, but I would probably not miss it if I never saw it again.

I spent 5 years living in the deep south of the US and I realized I missed it immensely. I guess you can take the woman out of Canada but you can't take Canada out of the woman?? Something like that....  :nerdy:

Personally don't miss winter at all.
