Spanish Water Dogs can be shy and apprehensive by nature, so she really needs to meet other dogs and learn how to behave around them. Basically, she's a spazz.

Sleep deprived is probably a normal state of affairs most of the time. Haven't seen any sign of menopause. About ten years ago thought it was coming early, having only three or four cycles per year for about three years. It may have been due to working mainly around men. Then got current job position and now sit surrounded by fertile women; have been regular ever since.

I've always had crappy sleep cycles but it got even worse once peri-menopause hit. And yes, your brain goes too! Forget things, miss things etc.
