More to dogs than cats though, probably because I've built up some immunity to the cats.

I'd need meds 24/7 for a dog though, and all the meds I've tried make me loopy or sick, so not willing to go there myself.

Saw a helicopter with pontoons on it fly over the highway while I was driving home today,  I've not seen one of those in a long time

Yep, I've settled for just visiting when I want a dog fix, but I normally can't stay long.

SO's whole family has dogs and everyone is "anti-cat"...I am the black sheep.

Met a team of university students who are creating free programs for teens on the spectrum. These kids rock. They're so passionate and enthusiastic about what they do and the teens feel accepted, safe and they're having fun. Win-win for everyone.

They identified the Oregon shooter as an aspie. Found online postings from his Mum (nurse) offering support to other parents who have kids on the spectrum. Lovely.

Sirius is getting cranky, snappy and in a lashing out mood quickly, the past few days.
Can't find anything wrong with him though, fur and eyes and such are looking really good. His ears are fine too.
He did love to get combed this afternoon, so I could check all of him in the mean time. Maybe he's just turning into a curmudgeon, now that his years start counting.

Sounds like he's developing grumpy old man syndrome in his older years if he doesn't have a physical injury.
