I was checking out a new housing estate earlier this evening. No houses in it yet though.
When I was driving through the streets at the rear, I noticed the road was like 4 lanes wide (enough room for cars to park on-street both sides, as well as for two cars to pass each other) This is very unlike a modern housing estate here in Australia, where the streets are usually as narrow as shit. Maybe the back half is to be industrial land.

They may be planning townhouse style homes which might require street parking due to lack of driveways or garages.

That too. Seems a bit far out for that type of housing though. Then again people scoffed at building in the more "inner" parts of town 60 years ago when it was getting developed - too far out of town they said 
I will try to research the zoning and DA approvals.

I wish I could stop trolling the Autism Speaks facebook page, but I can't because this lady just doesn't get it -__- It wasn't late-diagnosed people against AutSqueeks, it's those like myself who were diagnosed when we were younger. The first thing that Mom noticed right away, was the fact I didn't process her directions in getting my sister's shoes for her.

Last night I had fluffy pyjama pants on and was on my bed reading when Rowan jumped up on my legs and started kneading. It hurt because of his claws but i let him do it as it's a rarity.
