I really can't tell what's fact or fiction with the Troll and Automaton...

Maybe because that's what gaslighting does to you?

That's the purpose of gas lighting, making you question yourself.  I just treat it ALL as fiction and ignore it!

The local brewery had what looked like a superspreader event. Some kind of party.

We had a local brewery that used to do something similar. Every week end in the summer, they had a small band in the parking lot of the huge trucking depot where they occupied a corner stall. Also "tasting" tables were available to hawk the newest recipes or just for the hell of it all. Not sure the difference.

They folded this year due to staffing and Covid issues in general.

It was always fun to drop by and see what the band sounded like, but they are gone now.
 :bigcry:

Ours seems to be doing fine still, covid or no covid. Their restaurant/pub is not open every day and I don't think it's their main income anyway. It's a nice place to visit in the summer, though, so I hope they keep it open.

I try to ignore it... and they keep trying to attach themselves onto me like a leech. The troll already destroyed what I had with the Automaton, I don't want it to affect my other friend.. she was acting like a complete floozy around both of us.. and I did my best to restrain... my buddy, on the other hand, he fell for the trap. He got accused of assault (even when she was asking for it!)

Sometimes I wish those "parents" she had would just give her a lobotomy, or even a hysterectomy.

Dumb pigs like her shouldn't breed.

I'm sorry if this is ableist and sexist to point out... I'm just at the point where I hate this person, and I'm glad I am staying away.

Somebody a couple streets over used a snow blower to get the dusting of snow off their driveway :zombiefuck:

Had a major wave of grief come over me as I was driving and remembering that this is the month I lost my dearest friend.  I was listening to siriusXMradio spa channel and the music just hit me the right way.  But, there was also a bit of relief that he passed away before the pandemic.  The lockdown and restrictions would have been devastating for him since he was such a lover of life and active and just such a force of nature in a good way.  R.I.P.  Frederick P. Murray.  I thought my grief was winding down, but, the eyes teared up and the choking sobs welled up.  Not the best thing to happen while driving.   :'(

Tomorrow I go to Wisconsin for some Christmas time with my sister and her in-laws... should be fun, just a wee bit scared though for Dad's sake.

I started painting my dining chairs this week, starting with the primer. However I did not anticipate tanning bleed through the paint :facepalm2:.
So it's back to the drawing board with a proper oil based sealant instead.

Zinsser spray acquired. One can lasted two chairs. Now I need to source 3-4 more cans.

I swear the paint has costed twice the amount I paid for the actual chairs at this point  :P

The power lines going through the park were humming loudly this morning
