I thought you reheated the burritos from the freezer. A hot heat for 10-15 minutes (defrosted) I would have thought would kill salmonella.

None of that here, thankfully.

My daughter goes half nuts every Halloween decorating the front porch. She has bats, witches, ghosts, hay bale forts, pumpkins, corn stalks, jack-o-lanterns, a laser light that casts creepy eyeballs on the wall and I have set up a minimal stereo to play spooky noises for trick or treet.
She is torn between enjoying herself decorating, but worried that doing so will cause MANY kids to come to the door and be disappointed.

I take my dog for a drive every evening and there's this one massive horse farm we pass and at the time we drive by, all the horses are in for the night but a couple of them will stick their heads out of the barn windows and if I say to my dog I see your friends, she runs to the side of the vehicle facing the farm and sticks her head out and grins. Cracks me up every time, they all watch her go by.

My next door neighbour is about ready to swing a bat at the myna birds that keep perching on her clothesline.
It's so funny that she finds them so annoying. Even better when my cat chirps at them through the window which makes more myna birds turn up

I have blue hands, but not from playing in the toilet water.

I bought a carved wood giraffe at a sale and the wood was painted/stained with very dark spots. I washed it to remove any deep down dust and dirt and the dark stain turned out to be old fashion laundry bluing. It came off on my hands. This was many hours ago. It's still there.
