Give me another few months of this and I'll reconsider sanity.

We found heaps of old photos when cleaning out the filing room today. Lots of photos of staff xmas parties in the 90's and early 00's, misc office photos.
Looking back at the photos of other boss guy was the weirdest, as now we know that he is gay, the camp manner in the pictures becomes evident.
I like to think he had a lot of fun when he was younger and didn't stay closeted. If he ever wants to tell some stories I'm here for it :2thumbsup:

Lots of laid-off and furloughed folks spending time on the golf course today. I drove there at lunchtime to hit some golf balls and forget about stuff, but the place was packed.

There's two elderly neighbours who take a walk together every day but he stays on one side of the country road and she stays on the other and they call out to each other while they walk. Makes me smile every time I see them.

When you happen to have some clients with autistic kids and you can tell they got it from their dad just by talking to him on the phone :P

And I feel a bit guilty because he had an extremely bad stutter today and I made a remark to myself about it as I was hanging up the phone. I hope he didn't hear me  :facepalm2:

When my son was diagnosed the doctor who did the testing and diagnosis said "You DO realize the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, right?"  :lol1:

Got an email regarding my Covid-19 test. I am good!
My son was possibly exposed at work over a month ago and the store wanted everyone on that shift tested. Since I picked him up from work that day, I was expected to come in for a free test as well. It finally happened and we are all testing negative for Covid-19. Even negative for anti-bodies.
My wife was checked as a part of UPS' support, etc.

I do not consider it cool or tough or macho or whatever other asinine thoughts of weakness getting tested implies to some.
I do not feel smarter or better prepared or anything from testing negatively. Just a bit relieved.

^ Glad your gang is in the clear, DD

I figured out how to backwash the pool sand filter today by myself to see if it would fix the filtration issue we were having. I'm one of those people who doesn't hold on to info if I'm not doing it myself on a near daily basis. I hadn't done this one before but figured it out easy enough and solved the filter problem with the pool which had caused a problem with the gas pool heater and I saved us two tech visits, one from the pool company and one from the gas tech.  :nerdy:

We have way more toads and spring peepers this year. I keep rescuing them from the yard (at least 3 a day) and moving them to the pond where they have water, rocks and tons of greenery and bugs. :frog:

Thanks guys. I know all that information had "expired" about thirty seconds after the samples were taken, but I still feel relieved, mainly for my son who was probably exposed. His natural "never touch anything" baseline behavior has served him well.
 :autism:

I am glad to see that my hurried post was at least somewhat discernible to some.  Thanks, again, Dunc. I read it now and feel I left out some clarification elements.
