On a gluten free diet, you forget that food is tasteless because you learn compensations and either accept them or make workarounds. There is no workaround for GF bread - you just put up with it being tasteless because finally they are getting the texture right.
But today we had sandwiches made with bread from a company in VT called Against the Grain. We found some in a store in Plattsburgh, NY. I had their pizza while living in FL and it was awesome so I put my trust in and we paid $15 for 4 baugettes. The texture was a bit off, but the bread smelled and tasted of bread. And of course because it's Vermont, no artificial ingredients.
Not sure I will be able to put up with tasteless again.
