Freyja Sewell, a recent design school grad, took the world by storm with Hush, a stylish seating pod that completely encapsulates your body and has a discreet slit down the middle. Hush is perfect for anyone who wants to hide from the world a bit or wants to relax in a room shared with other people.
She wanted to develop new cool ways of allowing people to comfortably co-exist in these increasingly densely populated environments and that’s how Hush was born, a sort of cool shell that provides a personal retreat, an escape into the dark, quite, natural space in the middle of a busy room, office, shop, library of anything else.
Hush can be also converted to a cool regular chair but I’m sure most people will appreciate it’s main function. It’s great for people who want to be left alone some of the time or for anyone who wants to take a break and a spend a couple of minutes without any disturbance from the outside.
Freyja Sewell also announced that she plans to put the pod into production this winter so… get ready to order it if you really like what you’ve seen.
