To be honest, I haven't actually got around to watching the video yet; I've been busy revising my listening list for this exam I have today.

Not a whole classroom, but I have taught small groups.

Probably both. Lecturing would provide a bit more of a stable income, but I really enjoy research.

John Williams I'm not such a fan of; his music does go well with the movies but as music-in-itself it's not all that great IMO, and I wish that orchestras wouldn't play it in concert.

 Elliot Goldenthal has written a lot of my favorite movie music, including the score for Alien³.
 (Actually the first two Alien  movies had great music as well, IMO, by Jerry Goldsmith and James Horner, respectively.

Some movies that I can recall enjoying the soundtrack of were Memoirs of a Geisha, Pirates of the Caribbean and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
