I was only in for 4 years and I made Corporal after 3 years.

The Gunnery Sergeant thing was inspired by R. Lee Eremy, even thought he only made S.Sgt when he was in.

Actually, I enlisted as a PFC (E-2) because of my college credits. I made Lance Corporal after 9 months, and spent 2 1/4 yrs as a Lance before I picked up Corporal in Bosnia. My MOS (on paper) was 1142 Generator Mechanic. Much of that time I spent as a 9816 UAV Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic. I went to school for UAV's in Ft Huachuca, Az. The school was the most fun about the whole deal.

The main difference between the Gen 1 and Gen 2 General Motors DRCE id the bore spacing. Gen 1 was a 4.84" bore space from the Chevy big block. Gen 2 was a 4.9" bore space copied from the Ford big block.

I'm partial to blue, but I like grey as well. I'm developing a graphics job for my racecar that has a base color of grey with blue and green stripes.

Can't say  I have a favorite number other than :69:

My favorite numbers are V-8 engine sizes. So I'd say I like 426 the best.  8)

Oh.... not to mention 4:20.  ;)
