That actually makes a lot of sense, Soph and Richard. Having everyone be an admin can be kind of fun and a good thing when you are dealing with an attack, but if some of the admins are untrustworthy, then it could become a big problem with them having access to personal information like your email address and IP address. You could be signed up for spam email lists or they could do even worse things with your private information. At least one of the people with admin access there has misused other people's private information.
Indeed. That's why I would suggest NOT using a real e-mail account when signing
up anywhere. The IP address can't do too much damage, IMO. I can think of a couple
of things which can be done with it (I'd rather not go into them here), but they're pretty
minor.
I just thought that you were enjoying yourself on Aspie Chaos because you said here that you made some new forums there, Richard, then almost before I knew it you deleted your account, so I thought that something must have happened. Now that I think of it, I am guilty of making the same sorts of assumptions about Calandale that he has made about me in the past.

I dunno about that. The big ones that I see are your reluctance to
give up power, your style of fighting, and your tendency to see things
in black and white.
The first is pretty clear, even though I suspect it is based on
some concept of the 'good' that you do.
The second is really a matter of MY perceptions. Others see little
wrong with it.
The third is also really my perceptions.
In no case do I believe that there is any need to back the claims up.
When you make actions that I find objectionable, I'll point them out.
If it doesn't bother anyone, so be it. Not really my problem.
I like most of your members; however, one of the admins there has already by his own admission put the email addresses of some people he held a grudge against on a spam email list, and he has done even more that you refuse to believe, even though the person who says that he did has never given us any reason whatsoever to question his honesty. Another admin there abused his position as admin here and even though he is in your clique, even you don't think much of his character. The idea of having everyone be an admin is kind of a cool idea and I would really like to see it succeed, but I think that Aspie Chaos is a ticking time bomb.
I think it is too. I'm curious to see how it goes down though. As to Ahayes, maybe if
I had been given some real evidence, I would have felt unsafe with him as an admin.
Maybe Milla would too, and no one would have put him there. But, as it is, we both
were left with our basic naivety, and claims by dunc which didn't specify just what
he meant by 'hacked'. So, no matter how much I trust dunc, I'm not going to just
take his word that Ahayes is liable to do damage to anyone. Pity, because it probably
means a couple of other people won't show up, but I don't want to violate principles
on a matter of taste.
