Watched the Xmas special the other day, the one that ended with the new Stig in the crib.

I'm partial to the Häkkinen theory but that's because I'm a Finn.

:agreed: It would be fun if he really was The Stig.

I think his driving style is too restrained. Finns tend to push a lot harder.

True. I just like the theory. Häkkinen is the kind of personality who would enjoy a thing like that.

Could be one of the older breed of Finns, though. Plenty of drivers to choose from.

Here's something I've been wondering lately, when watching Top Gear: How good a driver is Clarkson?

It seems he's a fairly skilled driver, but chooses to be ham-fisted for entertainment.

Yes, that's what I was thinking too, but his lap in the Reasonably Priced Car is OK at best, considering that he should have had all the time in the world to practise.

No i don't reckon he is as skilled as he would like us to believe.  He does make up for that by being
very funny.

If i had to chose which one to go on a long drive with it would be the hamster (after the stig of course)
but if i had to be stuck in a lift with one it would be Clarkson just for entertainment value :zoinks:
