I don't know how available channel 'Dave' is?  It shows a few other 'motoring' prog too.  A awful (JMO) one called 'fifth gear'  which was pants.  Top Gear is on it an awful lot though so if you get it where you live it might be worth having a look

I have never seen a U.S. Top Gear  -  so have no idea how 'bad' it is?   If you want to watch the 'real' one

they basically took out all the worthy car shit and replaced it with "amazing race" type reality tv bullshit. history channel is such a joke now.

I enjoy Fifth Gear as well, I'm a fan of Tiff Needell.

I never really warmed to Tiff.  He is a bit too posh.  Like he swallowed the whole plumb tree or something.

I've watched half a dozen Top Gear episodes in the last few days.
