On the upside, Japan isn't likely to suffer an earthquake like this for tens of thousands of years. :woohoo:

unless the ww2 vets are right and god fucking hates them japs... in which case there not just fucked but double fucked.

Notice I just said earthquake. That isn't to say that volcanic activity may ratchet up now, which there's a good chance of.  ;)

Yeah, and erm, nothing worth mentioning just happening in the cock and ass thread.  :hahaha:

You had a good 15 minutes to view them Scrap. Hilarious.

How long do you intend to play this cat and mouse game??

Someone is going to catch that pic and post it you know!!  ;)  :police:

Actually, it's turned out to be more entertaining than I could ever have imagined.

I was in stitches seeing you everywhere BUT the cock and ass thread ('cos you avoid it so much).

Hilarious....and there they were....sheessh...not even old Soph or PPK had the good decency to PM you and alert you either!

Besides, everyone has witnessed your lewd requests here...and Scrappy, I'd say that most people think you've been stingy in not providing any photos of your own bits and pieces, yet you've harassed every vagina and breast owner here. So no, no one's going to be catching my tits and posting them for your benefit, because you clearly don't deserve to see them til you pay in your own flesh, boy.

Now get Mr Pickle out, or Mr Throbmaster 69, or The Dirty Weasel...or whatever it is you call him, take a nice picture for Ms Eclair and post. Now. You know you want to. Why so shy, little Scrap? :P

You even had the milder option of ass...but you couldn't even do that.

I'm finding this whole situation to be as amusing as you, but for different reasons.  8)

The waste pool at Fukushima no.1 Reactor 4 (that usually stores thousands of spent fuel rods) apparently has dried up. These pools have no containment vessel so once they're exposed to air, the spent fuel rods will catch fire and release radioactive material straight into the atmosphere. The radiation levels near the reactors are said to be 'possibly lethal' doses. They're trying to dump water from helicopters on both reactor 3 and 4 buildings, but it looks futile.

A bit of good news though, a power line connection may have been restored to allow partial power supply to be available to restart some cooling systems.

Personally though, I think it's too late and they should start construction on a lead-concrete sarcophagus for the entire site.
Existence actually has two broad meanings despite its apparent meaningless. The constant reconciliation of all its parts, and the conservation of any closed system as a whole.

Morality can be extrapolated from these meanings to make these two commandments of godless morality: 1). Be in harmony with one another and 2). Care for the environment.

 :agreed:

I think that's going to be what has to be done in in the end to contain the situation.

i hope this situation will prove reversible.

japan IS a major power, and altho it may sound hysterical so soon, its never good when a major power drops to leave a vacuum... domino effects are always unpredictable

..though given Japan's proximity to China, the effects are fairly predictable.

im not even trying to predict anything, that becomes... too "fantastical", like some chinese invasion or something, is very unlikely. chinas sending money and aidworkers and whatnot, thats beside the point

i just dont like when the power-structure of the world gets rattled too much. like the fall of ussr.
sometimes its good, sometimes its bad.

im just hoping this isnt a major rattle, but a little bump in the road.

No, I'm not saying that China would invade, but you know damn well that they will take full advantage of the situation.  ;)

I think the whole country is in damage control. The death toll figures are way too conservative, especially when you see footage like this;

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-pacific-12709850

Then on top of that the Japanese govt said 10K exclusion zone, which is fucking ridiculous....then 20K...our government has advised at least 80K to Australians in Japan. I mean, think about it, if it was a catastrophic chemical fire or explosion, 10K is fuck all, you'd still have smoke effects further than that....and these are nuclear plants severely damaged and exploding FFS.

Plus there have been people on the news saying the government told them nothing, they can't go out and get food and supplies there are running out. I think they are being left to die because it's all too hard and Japan don't want to lose face, they can pass a number of deaths off as quake related, and as long as people cannot go into that exclusion zone, they basically can hide for a while under the quake and tsunami guise.

Yeah, I saw that last night, but when I saw how long they filmed the dog without helping the injured one, I assumed they ate both dogs.
