If I had something like that, I wouldn't want to be treated different. I mean I wouldn't want to be teased, of course, but I wouldn't want anyone thinking is was "special" or anything either.

Ive had people fawn over me cause of my diabetes, and it's not cool.

The thing is, she is special. She's not like pretty much everyone else on the planet and she'll need to cope with that. It's not fair but then, life isn't fair.

yeah, she *is* special, and she is going to have a hard life. I wouldnt want someone always reminding me of that though, even if they were well meaning

I guess the PERFECT thing would for people to just treat her normal, but I dont think that is going to happen.
