Haven't listened to it much lately.

Its funny how your tastes change!  I was once a very 'angry' person and i used to like 'angry' stuff like metal.  Not a spring chicken anymore, and being a 'mum' has meant for me that i don't really need it as much.  Still a worthy genre IMO

A few bands are still in my CD collection -  Metallica,  Pantera,  Sepultura,  Slayer,  system of a down, and old old stuff like Black Sabbath

the types of heavy metal I like and listen to the most are black metal, death metal, grind, thrash metal.

I like black metal and some doom metal,and crossover thrash ( does crossover thrash count ? ) . I just cant stand death metal, tho. The main metal bands that I LOVE are Bethlehem, Bathory, Absu, Burzum, and Eyehategod.

I mostly listen to hardcore punk and it's many tributaries. Lots of Screamo is harder than metal, yet isnt metal. Genres are all very confusing when it comes to music. People always want to compartmentalize things into the tiniest categories. Something about hardcore punk and black metal that I love though..

yeah it's goofy that were naming them. I just like music.
 I have a fave band of all time and thats The Beatles. Now I have a handful of favorites mostly older punk
 Mistfits, Motorhed, The Stooges, The Ramones, The Dictators, 5678's, Pattyi Smith, Sex Pistols, DEVO,DOA, Minor threat, chuck berry, Elvis
yep oldes too. ......I even like Bethoven. I'm 22 now.  I'm too old now to be pop cultures biggest joke-"The follower of the false rebellion" and be the butt of it. I'm still into forming a band but just as entertainment still meaningful to me  but meaninful entertainment. Fuck that Anachy crap and peace-core shit I used to make.

The crust punks.......oh god. They live in Vanover and Victoria and their a nuesance. Their were complainsts on the radio
Crabs that want to drag you down. Have fun, live free anarchy
at the price of others. "Punk" or whatever is self-empoering not purposly staying as an underdog. Get a job, I mean a real one. Like one you actually
have to be skilled at.
