where do you make cuts
« on: February 21, 2011, 05:05:27 AM »
A government in need of cutting costs
should it slash 'services' for the 'young'  or  'care' for the 'old'  first?
blah blah blah

Just saw in the newspaper the local government was disappointed that so little young women came with suggestions on where to cut in the budget.

Does this mean the people on the pluche now actually want to listen to people?

I'd start by cutting the 'dropping bombs on brown people' budget.

Cutting education is like impregnating your sister.

You just want to take away all the fun >:D

Everywhere there is bureaucracy there is waste.  Ever look around in an office or work site and look at what is going on.

Needless paperwork,  clerks,  supervisors,  managers .  I am not saying we don't need any just the redundancy has become overwhelming.

i agree that cutting education is bad news,  and no government should ever take away chances for our young people.  It is their world next
and we are handing it over in a pretty shit state of affairs anyway.   we have an increasing number of old people, and i will be one of them
They also deserve to have good services

so where do we save money???  already snipped away at the NHS (not enough leeches anymore to go round)   i think our royal family need to
go

hmmm  maybe the same way the french got rid of theirs :eyebrows: :eyebrows:
blah blah blah

The structure and rituals of society make me extremely angry, so getting me started on this could be a problem.

I think the government ministers could do with a cut in their wages , if we have to make sacrifices so do they. :arrr:

Actually, there should be no celebrated government positions at all. It should be a public service, performed by non-paid volunteers and looked at like a duty. Not a job.

I meant they should be dismantled in the meantime. Mass murder , if necessary.

They never will be, which is why I suggested murder. A culling, if you will.

Cutting education is not always cutting what goes to the students.  In my town the last two school superintendents have either resigned or been forced out after little more than a year due to scandal.  The most recent after being charged with fondling two principals.  Yet they have heath benefits through the town for life and full pensions at about $100,000 a year seems a bit much to me.  That is a place to start on education.  My wife is a teacher so you would think I would be against cutting education but the waste in the administration and paperwork  she sees is appalling this is money that has no chance of getting to students.
