  There are whole big areas of human interaction that I just don't understand.

   I don't "get" the need for physical contact.  It doesn't do anything for me.

   I don't "get" loneliness at being single or sleeping alone.

   I don't "get" the prolonged grieving so many people suffer from. 
   Probably because I don't "get" attached in the "normal" way.
   So when people are gone, they live on in my head and I don't "get" all that sad. 

   Sometimes I don't "get" ME.

  Games.  Card games, board games, outdoor games, video games.  The only  game I play is
  Chinese checkers.  Especially, my brain isn't wired to understand the rules of card games.
  It's all impenetrable gibberish to me.  I don't see where the fun is.  I'll never understand it.

M:tG is significantly harder than Chess. Is it the strategy you don't grasp or the actual rules?


Because, I suck at playing Chess, but can understand the rules. If it's the latter, it's probably a mental block.

I’ve never gotten into them. The only one I sort of got into was Broken Sword on the Xbox. That was more of a point-and-click adventure game though, which was why I liked it.

Old-fashioned TV and movies. I can barely stand any of the newer stuff. Will never get why people enjoy dated special effects, odd acting, and unfunny humour.

I know that I preferred shows from an earlier time than my own though, back when I watched.
Probably because I could see them every day, instead of having to plan to see them once a week.

It's both. I can't 'see' where the pieces will or should go and what effect they will have there.

I ended one game of Magic with Kayleigh at -30 and me still at +20. I should have written down how I did it because I sure can't remember it now.
