Things you will never "get" in life

I'll never understand why some people like shopping clothes.

  I loathe all that fussing around in the fitting rooms, dressing and undressing
   multiple times to find one damn thing that looks halfway decent. 

I don't want to go in one, EVER. I get something that is my approximate size and buy it.

  I do that as much as I can, usually by picking the same familiar brands whose sizing I understand.

Did that for years with the jeans label I wear. Then they switched manufacturers (or hired particularly young Pakistani children) and messed up their sizes. I had to find a new label.

Hell no. 

I buy most of my clothes second hand anymore. Less of an investment loss when it doesn't fit right.

  I walked out of a bookstore one time when the (very nice) clerk overwhelmed me with a greeting.

There's a Waterstone's not far from where I am now with a clerk like that. She is nice but talk so much I avoid the place.

You can find the same stuff or better cheaper online 90% of the time...and you're not running to 3 different stores because they "don't have it in stock".

Wish I could do the whole grocery shopping gig online.
