How does it feel to be further along the dismal road to oblivion?

I got £25 from mum's partner, a pair of gloves from my sister (sadly a bit too big for me) and mum's cooking a beef roast for dinner.  My mum would have given me more, but I'm not a big fan of birthday celebrations and I don't like for her to spend money on things that I don't need or want.

I am nearly 34 so I am nearly 7 years older than you.

But you are like me, I don't like a big fuss about my birthday either. A nice dinner is good enough. :)
