Grammatical Sex

What sex do you think the punctuation marks are?  I see period, question mark and exclamation mark as feminine.   Forward and backward slash are transgender or gay/lesbian/bisexual.  The rest I suppose are masculine.

Are you a chick? and if so, when will you be posting n00dz of yourself??

  • I will let you guess.
  • No.
Semicolons are male. The dangly bits give it away.
Prefer to view semicolon as male; never really associated gender with text characters though.

I think Exclamation points (!) and Semicolons (;) must be male but Periods (.) are definitely female.
