No it's a 1200 Scrap. I would like longer mag tubes on it and the Benelli but I am too lazy to fuck with it. Anyway 4 rounds of 9 pellet 00 Buck should discourage most criminal scum (or Redcoats  ), I leave the chamber empty.

I have shot Jack rabbits, Prairie Dogs and rats but I don't generally hunt. I have only fired my Weatherby .308 @ the range.

I figured a .308 Win has plenty of power, 300 Weatherby costs like hell and the amounts of powder required to get the last bit of oomph are definitely in the area of diminishing returns IMO. If I wanted a 300 mag I think the 300 Win Mag would do it.

Cool. I'm not sure how I'd feel about shooting things that are alive, but I love shooting cans off a wall. I had a friend with an air rifle as a kid, and it was great fun

When I worked at J.F.R., our lead crew chief, Austin Coil had one of those .30 Lazzeroni rifles. IIRC, the cartridge was a .404 Jeffery necked down to .30. The barrel life was only slightly over 2,500 rounds.
