Actually i guess a frying pan would be good too,  i need to put it to good use i spose.

A woman on her own at least needs a heavy frying pan, and a rolling pin, both with a handle that makes it easy to wield them effectively when in attack or defence mode.

I assure you, either of you could kill somebody with a karate chop to the throat. But you should have heavy pans & sharp kitchen knives, if they make you feel better able to defend yourself, around, anyway!  :lol:

My little boy about a year ago at age 13 or 14 was in many ways a little boy but height and build almost my size...yes that was about a year or two ago, he is bighger now.
He had a nightmare and came quietly into my bedroom to tell me. I was sound asleep.
First indication I had was waking to a large man sized shape sneaking into my bedroom.
In one movement, i threw off the covers and planted my feet and coiled back my arms and legs about to charge and belt shit out of this burglar.
Then he whimpered.
I stopped for a second.
Then heard a shaky voiced "I had a bad dream"
i growled "Oh for fuck's sake. Don't ever fucking do that! Are you ok? Come here" and gave him a hug. Must have given him some great mixed messages   :hahaha:

I suffer periodically from exploding head syndrome.
I quite often used to get up to see if there were burglars. Though why i figured that someone would belt me over the head and then casually burgle my house is an interesting question  :hahaha: :yarly:

I had no doubt it'd be real! Plenty of conditions I've not heard about, sadly. It does help, finding others do get the same or similar things, to an extent at least. It helps me, finding out the problems others have, that I don't experience, too, sort of. You know that, if I could wave my big magic wand & solve all the problems, I would!
