It was after dark. I dont remember. That could be 4 am to me 


He told me to get the hell off the street and go home or he would arrest me. I dunno why, he was a jerk. I was kind of a troublemaker at that age so he knew me well.

So, I know he thought I was up to no good I just fail to see how he had the authority to tell me to go home when I wasnt doing anything wrong.

Yeah, that does suck, but if there was a "common nightwalker"-type charge in that city, he might have been able to arrest you anyway.

i was arrested by "plain clothes" once, in their "civilian" car

for convincing effect the back seats were filled w random trash, which was totally lame. i had to make room for my feet...

Sloppy cops! They probably LIVED in that car while on stakeouts, and threw all their coffee cups and fast-food wrappers in back!

for people that dont know, a paddywagon is like a van with a bench in the back. They handcuff you and make you sit on the bench. Nothing is keeping you still on that bench, though, so if they drive hasitly and make sudden turns you're sliding up and down that bench just trying not to smash your face on the walls. Then they yell at you to sit still !

I think they do it on purpose


One time when my brother was taken in for questioning but not arrested, he hid his bag of weed in the cop car, and got it back when they drove him home

drug dealers make it an "art" to spot a "civilian" cop car, so the cops return the art, by "perfecting" a sloppy civilian look

i actually found myself thinking degrading thoughts about them "fucking trash junkies, what are they doing here!?" (it was a weed dealer)

Well that is different. Saying a swear word isnt the same as cussing out a cop. Either way you get warned first I am sure unless you run into an asshole

One time I was walking to the store and a cop made me go home - for absolutly no reason ! I was like 19 and alllllll I was doing was walking to the store.


He didnt like me  For good reasons I guess but he had NO REASON to make me just go home like that

but what could I go ? i never did get to go to the store.....

What did he say? Was it late at night? There's a charge I've seen in courthouse records in the paper, "common nightwalker,"
which I think means just being out on the street at such a late hour that the cops assume you're up to no good even if they have no proof.
When I went to the police years ago to report having been followed home by that creep, they were very curious as to why I was on the street at 2 a.m.
I explained that I was going to the store, but I suppose they suspected me of being a junkie picking up drugs or something like that!   

What kind of drugs were you looking for?
