Pentagram stop assuming your life is worse than everyone else's. We all have our problems and we've all been through shit (who hasn't?), it's about how you respond to that and how you deal with it. You seem to be just wallowing in it and resenting everyone else for their perceived "better" life (despite knowing jack shit about our lives )

Even if ya'll have been through shit more or less as bad as I have, I'm still not an emo. And here are the reasons why:

1. Emos cry over stupid shit. (I may whine and moan, but I haven't had a single tear drop from my eye in years)
2. Emos listen to shit like Bullet for my Valentine and My Chemical Romance (I'm not interested in that faggotry)
3. Emos usually wear all black clothing. (I don't give a damn about my clothes as long as they are comfortable and not torn up)
4. Emos sometimes wear black eyeliner. (I don't like shit in my eyes)
5. Emos have friends. (I have no friends... at least not IRL)
6. Emos slit their wrists or become suicidal over stupid shit. (I have never considered slitting my wrist or hanging myself)
7. Emos don't know how good they have it in life.

I fit none of them. So there you go, I am NOT emo.

They're not talking about the fashion/emo culture you get. They're talking about the mindset and the behaviour. Usually when people on the internet say emo (at least on forums), they aren't referring to actually Emo (the hair, eyeliner, MCR etc). They mean someone who sits and wallows in self pity
