Your dad reminds me of a guy I saw on TV, on a show called Fatal Attractions,  about people who have dangerous "pets."
This guy is a retired rancher with a "pet" bison. Bison are massive and even this proud pwner admits they can be scary.
You should have seen him in the pen with his "pet," pushing him backward by one of his horns and scolding him.

i remember the first time i told him that lions do NOT kill the zebra to "end its suffering", but to make it stop kicking and twitching. it has to do w their jaw and teeth. Hyenas have very sharp teeth, and stronger jaws, and can effectively cut meat right off, without needing the zebra to lay still. thus... hyenas will eat the zebra alive.
if lions were to justsohappen to stumble upon a zebra with its guts hanging out, the lion would have no problems slurping the gut up, before killing the zebra.

Oh yeah, he definitely reminds me of the people on Fatal Attractions.  They seem to think they have a special bond with dangerous wild animals.

Fire agates are extremely valueable. you'd be suprised, I've never been good with money I have executive dysfunction. and the cost of living/food prices in my area are expencive

Most of my money goes twords rent, and saving for my baby!

I don't have a problem with you; I just disagree with some of your actions. I enjoy poking fun at others' foibles. I find it illogical that you would cut your budget by going to a food bank and then spend your saved money on a luxury like fire agates. You'd be better off investing it, or getting additional education, or buying something that is practical. After you can meet your basic necessities, then you can buy whatever gemstones you want. You are giving yourself instant gratification at the cost of your standard of living and your future financial standing.

Furthermore, you are of the attitude that it is acceptable to draw money from the overtaxed system that exists to feed poor people who can't afford to feed themselves or their families. There are people in the world who need food, and who genuinely cannot afford it. I am unsure of what your state budget consists of, but in much of the US, subsidies for the poor have been cut because of budget deficits. In addition, charities are suffering because fewer people can afford to give money away (although this is getting better). From what I understand, you could afford to feed yourself, or at least subsidize part of your food bill. Instead, you choose to spend this money on polished rocks. This decision is very selfish of you.
