We especially CANNOT let governments use this an excuse to impose stricter regulation of the internet either. It is also important to show the public what information really exist, and prevent the mainstream media and even the alternative media from cherry picking information, and leaving out what actually matters.

Anonymous is actually nothing more than a invented meme which has taken a life of it's own, there's no true definition of anonymous (also not every anon necessarily supports an idea, in fact Anonymous can be rather bipolar in nature). However one thing that most anons share is that, they're extremely pro-free speech and extremely anti-censorship.

But something has to be done, internet freedom is literally at sake here. People not only need to be aware of these leaks to show how ridiculously disproportionate the U.S Government is acting against Assange against rather low level secrets; but also the implications on how the U.S government will exploit this situation to impose new censorship laws. We are FUCKED if this battle is lost.

I know the odds are immense against us, but every tiny contribution helps to hopefully cause a 'snowball' effect, even if it's slow.
