Okay, let's see, introductions.... Always tough.
My name's Loki, well, it is to you for now.
I'll just be straight about it from the start, I don't have Asperger's or Autism, but know a few aspies and people here. It'll be fun to try and figure out who's who.
Hmmm, I'm from Northern California, in a nice little shithole a few hours north of San Francisco. We're known for growing the best weed in the world. Or at least, we like to think so.
I work at pretty much the greatest used bookshop in existence. I both love and hate my job. I love the shop, sitting on the floor, organizing and shelving books. It's like a 100,000 piece game of tetris that moves very slowly. But, on the other hand, I have to deal with people most of the day. I'm much better expressing myself in writing than with my mouth words. But, I guess that makes me like it a bit as well, I'm getting better at pretending to be human and care what a bunch of mouth breathers are saying.
"I'm looking for this book... I forget what it's called, or who the author is... The cover's blue.... and it's about like a spy, or a cop... or a veterinary clinic technician. My friend said it was AWESOME. Can you help me find it?"
I'm assuming this isn't exclusively Asperger only, it seems like a fun little community. I've been looking for a smaller forum for a long time since the ones I used to hang out at, shriveled up and died. It's hard to find a place that's generally unmoderated and not filled with whiny little bitches who cry over the slightest of slights.
Other than that, I'm not sure why I'm here. Except you lot seem pretty fun, weird and just about mean enough for me.
Also, sometimes I type too much, I can type pretty damn fast and sometimes I forget to stop.
