My boy got a fucking job! So happy!!!!!

Yeah, it is at a car wash down the road from our new house. My boy loves cars and he will be working on Audis and Mercs and Austin Martins(sp), not to mention Subarus and all sorts of other automobiles. They also do car detailing(cleaning the inside and polishing). He will be in heaven!!

I think this will help him grow up a bit and take some responsibility. Like Parts said, learn the value of things.

He is just now finishing exams and next year he will be doing Maths(accelerated) Physics, Chemistry, English, IT and Manufacturing. Hopefully his report card is good this term. It will boost his confidence. Despite the fact that he does well in most of his subjects and is in the excellence class for mathematics, his self-esteem is low. He has had a very difficult life so I have been trying to help him get past it. Trying to help him build resilience and experience joy. This job that he got is not just a job, but a rite of passage, and I am so proud of him. He will be nervous and stuff, but I bet he will pull through.

Now I am all teary Good things happen so rarely, so when they do, it is time for celebration.
