Didn't know it was a forced thing.

In some schools, the students are supposed to use a communal shower in the girls' or boys' locker room after Physical Education classes.

Yes, had them in school too, but no one was forced to use it; never did.

You did this?

There were no showers that I recall at school. Think it is a bit different in Australia compared to the UK.

We had to change out of our swimmers into our school clothes in the pool change rooms at primary school. It was like an open area. But there were 2 cubicles I think you could go into, but most girls just changed in the open area of the girls change room.

On swimming days, I used to wear my swimming costume under my uniform, strip down to it, go swimming. Use the cubicle to change out of wet clothes into uniform, and I was happy to wait for the privacy. However, lots of girls just changed in front of each other.

I also remember we used to have physicals, and when I was 6 I had to strip down to my singlet and underwear for one. My mother attended, but I think she was the only mother who did. Not for any other reason than I guess she knew that I would have a problem doing that without her and that she should be there if a stranger was examining me.

Boys piss in front of each other into a trough.

They are used to seeing each others penii.

Mind you, I always took my son into the ladies toilets when we were in shopping centres or had to use public toilets right up until he was about 12. I didn't care, no one ever challenged me, and God help them if they had ever tried.

I had to shower and change in a communal bathroom after gym class in seventh grade. Usually I skipped the shower and just changed clothes.
I still was mocked by bitchy classmates and was very relieved when a painful knee condition got me excused from gym class throughout high school.

There was a physical exam given to the boys in my year when I was about 11; I had to pull down my trousers and underwear and a nurse felt my balls and scribbled something on a form.  I'm not sure what they were checking for, and the only other physical exams that I remember getting at school were hearing and colour-blindness tests.

All girls  high school  had the showers, but no one was allowed to use the area except for changing into and out of gym clothes.

Actually I always use a cubicle , Pissing into urinals is extremely awkward and uncomfortable to me.
