Does anyone still use the word asperger/aspie?

QuirkyCarla:
I call myself an aspie, but only around family. Most people don't know I have autism. It's a shame, because in my Child Development 2 class last night someone was asking about Asperger's and I disagreed with the answer my professor gave her, but I didn't say anything because I was worried about what would happen if I basically told that whole class I have Asperger's.

Lucifer:

Nomaken:
I call myself an aspie, and when refering to people with asperger syndrome i call them aspies, when i am refering to autistics and people with asperger syndrome, i call them people with ASD.  I refer to autistics as autistics because i just dont like the way auties sounds in my mind when i think it.
