I( love the mountains been near the shore all my life and would gladly trade it for some mountains

My Dad was transferred to CO for a year and they had a house that was literally carved into the side of the Rocky Mountains. I loved visiting them there. There was a huge herd of elk that lived there and they would gather in the middle of the narrow road leading up to the house but they knew the truck and would part to let us through. We could have the windows down and they would be close enough where you could feel them breathing if you drove by slowly enough. It was amazing.

What I believe is an old school house a few miles up the road from my hood.

State capitol building about 20 minutes away

Covered bridge on the way to the capitol if you take the back roads.

Some of the old buildings down town

A natural spring in down town that was used for town water supply when it was founded over 200 years ago.
Still used for water supply today, but not 100% supply.

Thanks! No, Never been in it. Looks like it'll fall down if one were to look at it cross-eyed.

True, but if I lived near it, I would probably try...and most likely end up calling 911
to get my fat self rescued from the collapsed floor!

These shops are about five minutes from where I used to live with GA.

This is one of the trains I catch to go to uni.

This is the foreshore where GA and I used to walk all the time.

I actually found a picture of where I go to the doctors too

As a matter of fact I do.

But this particular image was taken when the sailing ship (a replica of an 18th century East Indian trader) prominently displayed in the foreground of this picture was leaving on her maiden voyage. It's not always that crowded.
