We abolished TV licences more than 40 years ago. Waste of money, and why should you have a licence to receive a transmission?

Oh, and I like Dr Who, just can't stand the recent stuff. Tom Baker and John Pertwee were the best.

I kinda agree about the tv license, although I like the recent Doctor Who. :green:

I liked the Doctor's assistants from Susan up until Nyssa. Tegan got a bit annoying, and the others later on didn't have the same impact.

Could be that with my age, I tend to go from what I remember as a kid.

I don't remember those names. Rose(Billie Piper) is the first assistant that I remember.

Donna was the BEST assistant ever.

Thanks for the link.  The PBS station showed the Tom Baker year(s), but the only companions I remember are Leela and K9.

My favourites were Leela, Jo Grant, Liz Shaw, Nyssa, K9 (of course), Adric and Romana (Lalla Ward).

NASA is routinely out here because most of the lanscape nearby resembles the moon! :autism:
