  I was assigned the task of cleaning our three ovens at work.  I got one done easily two days ago,
  but the hardest one to do is the big top oven that's almost constantly on and in use.  I figured I would
  spray the oven cleaner in it last night and finish the job this morning, but then I realized it would
  take too much time out of a busy morning, so I stayed late and did it last night.  Good call.

I used to clean the showerhead by leaving it in cheap vinegar. It works REALLY well, comes out like new. Except once I left it for too long and it affected the rubber.

Before I did not have a showerhead with rubber, so it never crossed my mind things could go wrong.

Worked cleaning up my (old) bedroom looking for some paperwork.  Didn't find that paperwork, but did find a document that cannot be reissued (Federal tax ID number, don't know why it can't be re-issued, but they said it couldn't) and one of my 2 pairs of glasses that have been misplaced since August or so.

  Today I was proactive at work and did a couple of big cleaning projects that were long overdue.

Backed the van out of a very muddy driveway about a quarter mile long without getting stuck.

Did a pretty nifty script to append some legal commentary today. Probably saved the company a lot more than the cost of the script.

And I have to add, it works like a charm. Sometimes it's hugely satisfying to do these things.

I wouldn't complain about the pay. There are better contracts out there but this one is long term, which is always a good thing.
