Well, if I want to go to college, I'll have to wait until January. I dunno about any church youth groups, because I don't go to church and I don't want to go. I'm kind of jealous of you aspie Brits because you get, along with a disability check, you get a free laptop, free movie tickets, free this and that, while we in the USA are LUCKY to get a disability check. HMPH!

And, Aspie as a DX did not exist when I went to Uni. Still, it was good for me. Even without any specialised support. Met other weirdoes there, some I am still in contact with.

I was in the same situation with my mom a few years ago, had no friends and still dont. now i just dont care anymore and i'll probably be like this until the end of time!

most of my sisters and brother are grown up and dont have any time for me anymore because they all got familys of thier own. So now really i only have my laptop and you guys here that are my friends, i think this is why i became such an alcoholic! it was so comforting to just go to the store and buy a case of cold beer to keep me company. Beautiful. but now i'm paying for it

Congratulations on the pell grant. I'd go back to school but i'm dumb as all hell

I was quite surprised that the Princess Royal's special education school's highest level was for those who might be able to pass the GED.  And quite a few of them did.  I know it took a lot of desire, discipline and hard work for those young men and women to do it.  My hat is off to them.

A GED is easy to obtain. You really don't even have to study. Just use good test taking skills. (process of elimination, mark and come back, blah blah.)

Go to one of the community colleges near you.  They usually have some type of course that prepares you for your GED.  You could also look at the thrift stores for an old copy of a GED text book, but the community college is your better bet.
