Thank you for clarifying this, however I'm not sure I ever gusted.  Zephyred perhaps, but not gusted.

  I used to get cups of noodles from the mini-market on the corner in my old neighborhood.
  I got rid of the dried specks of meat and veg, and just enjoyed the noodles and broth.  :2thumbsup:


   Now I'm hungry.  I shall pray to  :fsm:  to provide for my earthly needs!

The dried veggies do my head in. I pick as many out as I can before I put the water in. So annoying
I had a cup (styrofoam) of noodles yesterday while doing homework. The dried vegetables and seasoning come in little plastic bags so you can leave them out if you want to.

I don't microwave them either. I pour boiled kettle water in the cup and leave it with the lid on for about 5 minutes.
