The Sims 2

This fucking game has the longest loading times I have ever seen. It takes like 3-5 minutes to load up a neighborhood, especially with some expansion packs installed. I used a stopwatch to see how long it took for The Sims 2 with the Seasons, Nightlife, Apartment Life, and FreeTime expansion packs to load up Belladona Cove and it took a whopping 2 minutes and 45 seconds to load it! Never mind the fact that loading the game itself took like 5 minutes. That's already about 8 minutes spent waiting on the piece of shit to load! Then you got another 1-2 minutes to load a household so that you can actually get to the game! That's 10 minutes in total of sitting on your ass, waiting for the fucking piece of EA shit to load. Oh, and don't think that you can just minimize it and do something else, because it will stop loading entirely until you maximize it, so you have to listen to the gay ass in-game "music" and stare at the Sims 2 logo that we all just love so much!

And it takes about half a minute to load the game back when you maximize it! Did EA Games even test this shit before putting it out? Have they considered that these load times are unacceptable today? Of course, they don't care now that the piece of shit Sims 3 has "replaced the Sims 2... I hate these fucking load times.

Fallout 3 doesn't even take half as long to load on my computer, it's like "let's get right to the fucking action here", no 10 minute loading times here, you're even lucky to see the loading screen at all because it loads so fast! Shit, is there anything that EA does NOT fail at?

And I am so FUCKING glad that I pirated the Sims 2 instead of wasting 20 dollars on this plop of Will Wright's spilt "sim"en!

EA Games as a corporation is utter shit, usually the good games by them are developed by bought-out developers like Westwood Studios for one (Command and Conquer series) and Maxis (The Sims and SimCity). EA is like a malicious parasite, once it touches your game franchise, they will grind every dollar out of it at the expense of depleting all quality that makes the games great. Eventually it's devoided of anything good and sells only by it's name and media hype.

It's a sad state of affairs.
Existence actually has two broad meanings despite its apparent meaningless. The constant reconciliation of all its parts, and the conservation of any closed system as a whole.

Morality can be extrapolated from these meanings to make these two commandments of godless morality: 1). Be in harmony with one another and 2). Care for the environment.

As with any EA game, it all depends on how many expansion packs you have, right? It's actually not too bad, but can be aggravating at times.

You must not have had any expansion packs installed.

Never played Sims 3 and I don't think I ever will. EA's dodgy copyright system and spyware puts me off.

Sims 2 was the best for me, along with Sims 1.
