High School Reunion.
« on: October 25, 2010, 06:11:35 PM »
Been invited to 20 year high school reunion.

Has anyone been to one, going to one, run away from one or died at one? ;)

I have already made up my mind not to go, just interested in others views.

Me neither :agreed:

I almost considered going, based on my strict politeness rules, but I doubt I would even be able to get in the car to go there. High school not fun :thumbdn:

Yeah i didn't like high school either

also never want to see most of my former classmates ever again lol

and for the few that I do like, there's facebook for that

If in the future I'm really successful and have a really REALLY hot gf/wife... then I would consider going. Just to say "fuck you" to everybody though

I don't know. Most of my close friends from high school I'm either still close to, or could contact easily so I don't know if it would be worth going. Two of my favourite teachers who had a huge impact on my life have both passed away so that's not a driving force either. My 15th year has passed and there wasn't one held to my knowledge.

There was a celebration for the school's 50th anniversary which I went to (wanted to see some teachers who had retired) and I have to say that was a lot of fun.

I've never been to one and don't plan to go. There's no one I am desperate to see again, and I really  don't feel like

Been to my 20th, it was as lame as high school its self. If you didn't like high school, you won't like the reunion.

On another note, I went to my 15 year reunion and got laid with one of my high school crushes. :woohoo:

I went to my 25th reunion.  My husband knew more people there than I did.  Bear in mind he's 8 years older and went to an entirely different school.  Hated it.  My 50th is in 2017 and I'm not going.

Besides there were over 900 in my graduating class.  They segregated male and female students into separate schools, one each.  This was to protect us after the 1964 Civil Rights Act.  I guess in a way it backfired.  Because we were in an all-girls environment we didn't have to dumb ourselves down to impress the boys.  Quite a lot of us went to college.  The high schools were segregated for about 10 years.

You said you were done with it...

Anyway, I'm through with him, and anyone else who backs him up. Lines were drawn, and sides were chosen. I'm done with it all.

Now I am.
